Privacy Policy

Information you give us. Your name, email address, and any details you enter into an interview questionnaire, including answers, biography, business or brand information, website URL, social media handles, uploaded photos or media, and the names and contact details of people you nominate. Advertising and contact forms collect your name, email, organization, inquiry category, budget range (if provided), and message. Newsletter signups collect your email address and the page or context you signed up from.

Information created automatically. Basic technical and usage data such as pages viewed, referring pages, approximate article read counts, device and browser type, and timestamps. We store limited data in your browser (localStorage/session storage) to save interview drafts, remember your progress, and count an article view once per session. We use bot-protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) on submission forms, which processes a challenge token and related signals.

Information from others. If someone nominates you, we receive your name, email, and the reason for the nomination from that person. Our email provider reports delivery, bounce, and unsubscribe events.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we do not seek sensitive categories of personal information.

To create, edit, and publish editorial articles and features; to contact you about your interview, nomination, inquiry, or unfinished draft (including reminder emails); to send invitations to nominees; to send the newsletter you requested; to display and rotate sponsor placements; to operate, secure, debug, and improve the Site; to prevent spam, fraud, and abuse; to keep internal archives of interview submissions for our editorial records; and to comply with law and enforce our Terms.

Content intended for publication is public by design.

Anything you submit as part of an interview — your answers, name, likeness, photos, links, handles, and business details — is provided for publication and, once published, is publicly accessible, indexable by search engines, and may be quoted, syndicated, and surfaced by AI assistants. Do not submit anything you do not want published. Your email address and phone number, if provided, are not published. See Section 2 of the Terms for the license you grant us, and Section 3 for our no-compensation policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with: service providers that operate the Site on our behalf (cloud hosting, database and file storage, email delivery, bot protection, and analytics), each permitted to use it only to provide services to us; the nominee you asked us to invite (they see who nominated them where relevant); our editorial team and, for advertising or general inquiries, the recipients of that inquiry at Werkaholix; and any party where required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. If our business is transferred, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We keep interview submissions, drafts, nominations, inquiries, email logs, and newsletter records for as long as needed for our editorial, archival, legal, and record-keeping purposes. Published articles and the content within them are part of a permanent editorial archive and are generally retained indefinitely. We delete or archive incomplete drafts and stale records periodically at our discretion.

Email. Every marketing and newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time from our unsubscribe page or by emailing us. Transactional messages about an interview you started may still be sent.

Access, correction & deletion. You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, or delete non-published personal information such as your email address, unfinished draft, or newsletter record. Email media@influence.vegas. We will not discriminate against you for making a request, and we may need to verify your identity.

Published content. Because published articles are editorial works and you grant us an irrevocable license to them, deletion requests do not extend to published editorial content. We will correct material factual errors and will consider good-faith removal requests involving safety, legal risk, or error, at our discretion.

Browser controls. You can clear local storage and block cookies in your browser settings; doing so may erase saved interview drafts and progress. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where applicable.

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, authenticated and role-restricted admin access, row-level database access rules, private file storage with expiring signed links, and bot-protection on public forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your unique interview link private; anyone with it can access your draft.

The Site links to third-party websites and social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, X, YouTube, and interviewees’ own sites). Their practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. We are not responsible for their content or data handling.

We operate from the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. If you use the Site from outside the United States, you consent to that transfer and processing.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new effective date, and material changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Site after posting means you accept the updated Policy.
